Recent Events: Ogre Unplugged & Jakarta Comic Con 2015

- in Event, News

Hey everyone,

Hope everyone is enjoying the game so far.

There were two recent events that Juara Nusantara was part of which are Ogre Unplugged and Jakarta Comic Con which was held in Indonesia.

Jakarta Comic Con was a smash and we were proud to be part of it. With people travelling all over the world to attend Comic Con, we were one of the exhibitors that were at the event. The 3 day event had over 100,000 people attending and was packed to the brink especially on Saturday. Juara Nusantara crew was on site to provide players with demos and to introduce the game to new players in Indonesia.

Players who joined the play test received a limited edition Garuda during the play test. For those players who didn’t receive the promo, we will be printing more for you guys as more than 5,000 copies were given out during the event.

After 3 days of the event, the crew was completely exhausted from the amount of promoting and play testing from the crowd. We returned tired but very happy with what we had achieved. On top of that we had one of our players from the card game Fransisca Rahardja in attendance.

Fast forwarding a few weeks, we were also part of the Ogre Unplugged at Kelapa Gading Mall in Indonesia.

During the Ogre Unplugged event, players had the opportunity to learn the game (receiving their copy of the Garuda promo), take pictures with our cos players and to join the Juara Nusanatara Tournament.

The event was a huge success with TCG players as over 1000 people attended the event. The open tournament was won by  Cahya Mulya . Congratulations to him on becoming the winner for the first major open tournament in Indonesia.

Next up we will be planning a handful more tournaments for players towards the end of the year. Stay tuned to our website or your local game store for updates.

Till next time,
Andrew Chiu
